Rizo
Rizo is a story of the struggles of an Afro-Latina actress navigating the world of Hollywood. When working on Rizo in pre-production we looked at Wes Anderson images for inspiration. We liked his use of colors and approach to storytelling. We used this device to communicate Cristina’s emotional state and her given circumstances. The process of storyboarding frame by frame to decide actor blocking, camera position, frame composition was a crucial part of the film’s success.
